Dr. Wendt is a Western New York native who grew up in Lockport, NY. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Spanish from Nazareth College of Rochester in 2013.

She received her dental degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2017 and transitioned to active-duty service in the U.S. Air Force upon graduation. In 2021, she completed her prosthodontic residency through the United States Air Force and earned a Master of Science in Oral Biology.

Dr. Wendt went on to successfully challenge and pass the American Board of Prosthodontics examination, becoming board certified in 2022. Her research manuscript was published in the Journal of Prosthodontics in 2024.

From 2021 to 2024, Dr. Wendt served as a prosthodontist and Chief of the Dental Lab in the Air Force. She returned home at the end of 2024, bringing her extensive knowledge and experience to patients in Western New York.

Her clinical expertise includes implant planning and restorations, dentures, crowns, veneers, and full-mouth rehabilitation. Dr. Wendt is a member of the American Board of Prosthodontists, the American Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry, the American College of Prosthodontics, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the New York State Dental Association.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Wendt enjoys horseback riding, training and competing in agility with her two dogs, hiking, reading, and cooking.
